PIVOT STEER FORK LIFT TRUCK
The Pivot Steer truck is commonly referred to as a ‘Bendi’ or ‘Flexi’ truck. The machine is suited to working in tight, narrow environments due to its swing mast
This allows the forks to swing at a 90 degree angle either side of the machine. We provide training on the following categories:
- P1 – Rider
- P2 – Pedestrian
COURSE DURATION
- Novice Course(5 Day engagement)
- Refresher Course(1 day)
- Experienced Course (2-4 Days)
- Conversion Course (1)
COURSE AVAILABILITY
- Maximum of 3 Trainees on each course
Course participants are expected to have learnt the following Theoretical skills at the end of their Course.
THEORY
- Introduction & Aims
- Current Legislation, including:
- Health & Safety at Work Act Etc 1974;
- PUWER & LOWER Regulation 1998
- Approve code of practice (ACOP)
- Responsibility of the operator
- Operational Safety Code – “Safety in Working With Lift Trucks”
- Basic Hydraulic & Electrical systems
- Refuelling / Recharging
- Daily Safety Checks & Maintenance
- Site Safety
- Stability Control
- Centre of Gravity of the load & Centres
- Capacity plates (reading & understanding.)
- Specific hazards & controls.
- Vehicle loading and unloading theory

IMPORTANT
We only offer in-house and ITSSAR Accredited courses
- Classroom, training area and facilities must be provided on site
- You will be tested on your knowledge with both a theory test and practical Test.
